Remember this experiment?

Well, I don’t think that I even need to explain the differences in germination rates between the three soil types. You can see for yourself:

Basically, unless something is a little slow to germinate, any empty spots you see are cells that contain the store-bought seed starter. What a waste! I will NEVER use that stuff again.

It’s pretty much a tie between the Dr. Earth’s seed starter and the homemade mix. Being that the homemade mix is a bit cheaper, I think I’ll be going that route from now on.
